For All Air-Cooled 2-Cycle Engines

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL is formulated with high quality Pennzoil "tough film" base stocks

and an additive package designed specifically for air-cooled engines. Air-cooled engines run hotter than water cooled

outboard engines and require a lubricant formulated for their unique lubrication requirements. Applications such as

small maintenance equipment can run extremely hot. Dust and dirt on the cooling fins increase the severity.

PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL contains a unique combination of detergents and ash-free

dispersants to protect against high-temperature deposits and ring sticking, plug fouling and port plugging. Anti-wear

protection for the high rpm needle roller bearing commonly found in small air-cooled engines is also critical.

PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL is designed to protect these components and protect against piston

scuffing during start up and extended use conditions. It also contains additives to protect against rust and corrosion.

The unique combination of base oils and additives provides superior protection (even at high temperatures and high

loads) against piston scuffing, while minimizing exhaust smoke and spark plug fouling. It is prediluted to allow easy

mixing with gasoline and smooth flowing in oil injection systems. It is dyed blue for easy identification in the fuel.

APPLICATION

PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL is recommended for air-cooled, two-cycle engines in all

applications which do not specify NMMA TC-W®, TC-WII® or TC-W3®. It may be used in premix with gasoline or oil

injection systems. It is specifically formulated for higher temperature applications such as chain saws, weed cutters, air

blowers, lawnmowers, snow blowers and small generators. It is also recommended for two-cycle engines in motorcycles,

snowmobiles and ATV's which do not specify NMMA TC-W®, TC-WII®, or TC-W3® products. It may be used in any

application which requires API Service TC lubricants and is suitable for use in Rotax engines. For applications calling

for NMMA TC-W®, TC-WII® or TC-W3® oils, use Pennzoil® Premium Outboard and Multi-Purpose Two-Cycle Oil.

Under heavy-duty operating conditions in air-cooled engines, some TC-W®, TC-WII® or TC-W3® oils can promote the

formation of deposits which result in ring sticking. PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL contains

special detergents that offer excellent protection against ring sticking in these applications.

PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL is a highly fortified, high quality lubricant and should be used at

the fuel to oil levels of original equipment oils. The use of lower fuel to oil ratios reduces economy and promotes

deposits. Always check the manufacturer's recommendations for fuel to oil ratios and use at the highest ratio allowed.

Because of its special formulation, PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED ENGINE OIL is generally not compatible

with NMMA TC-W®, TC-WII® or TC-W3® lubricants. Caution should be exercised to assure that these products are

not commingled. Special precautions should be taken when changing from a TC-W®, TC-WII® or TC-W3® lubricant,

like Pennzoil® Premium Outboard and Multi-Purpose Two-Cycle Oil, to PENNZOIL® 2-CYCLE AIR-COOLED

ENGINE OIL to avoid mixing these products in the equipment.
