PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL is an advanced technology 100% synthetic motor oil. It

incorporates a stable viscosity index improver to provide the viscosity control and high-shear, high-temperature protection

required by new engine designs and operating conditions. It protects engines during the stress of cold starts and short trip

driving. It is formulated to provide high-temperature protection.

PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL provides excellent low temperature flow and outstanding

protection against wear during engine startup. PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL is

engineered using a high quality synthetic base oil to which a high performance additive system is added. This quality

synthetic base oil gives PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL excellent oxidation resistance

and outstanding protection against viscosity breakdown. It also provides excellent protection against sludge and varnish

deposits.

PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL comes in SAE grades 5W-30, 10W-30 and 5W-50 to

cover the complete range of passenger car engines on the road today. It exceeds the motor performance requirements of

all gasoline, turbocharged and natural gas passenger car engines.

APPLICATION

PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL can be used in high-performance engines for both street

and racing applications. PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL can also be used in all

passenger cars. The SAE 10W-30 and SAE 5W-30 grades are specifically designed around the needs of American and

Japanese cars. The SAE 5W-50 grade is especially tailored for European engines for which higher viscosity grades are

often recommended.

PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL surpasses the performance requirements of API SJ. It

meets the warranty protection requirements for all domestic and import gasoline engines. Always consult your owner’s

manual for the proper viscosity grade. PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL is compatible

with mineral oils and most other synthetic oils.

PENNZOIL® PERFORMAX® 100 SAE 5W-30 and 10W-30 have been qualified for ILSAC GF-2 and are API certified.

Both grades meet all requirements of General Motors specification 4718M, which is recommended for many of their high

performance engines.
