Supreme Quality Lubrication
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL is a premium
quality motor oil designed to exceed the lubrication requirements
of the most modern diesel engines. It is formulated with the finest
base stocks and the most advanced additives in the industry today.
SUPREME DUTY provides excellent protection for both two- and four-cycle
high performance diesel engines.
Extensive field testing proves that SUPREME DUTY
will minimize carbon deposits, which interfere with efficient
operation, in the piston ring zone. This reduced carbon buildup
means less ring wear and less cylinder bore polishing. The benefits
of using SUPREME DUTY are less oil consumption, less ring breakage
and less piston skirt scuffing. This is especially important for
the new "low emission" diesel engines. The acid neutralizing
additives in SUPREME DUTY will also reduce corrosive wear, even
when using fuel with sulfur levels up to twice the national average.
Less corrosion, deposits and wear mean less engine maintenance
and longer engine life. SUPREME DUTY has been extensively evaluated
in Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit, Mack and John Deere engine tests.
In the Mack T-6 engine test, oils earn a merit rating based upon
their ability to protect against deposits and ring wear and to
control oil consumption. PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY has demonstrated
outstanding performance by earning a very high Mack Merit Rating.
In the Mack T-8 engine test, an oil's ability to resist excessive
thickening due to soot loading is evaluated. PENNZOIL SUPREME
DUTY has demonstrated outstanding soot dispersancy and viscosity
control properties. SUPREME DUTY is the diesel engine oil of
the future - available today!
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL does not sacrifice
protection for gasoline engines. It exceeds API Service Classification
SH for gasoline engine oils. SUPREME DUTY provides excellent protection
against rust, sludge, and low-temperature deposits which are more
commonly a problem in gasoline engines.
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR
OIL has also demonstrated long service
life in Caterpillar powershift transmissions and Allison transmissions.
SUPREME DUTY is recommended for transmissions requiring a Caterpillar
TO-2 fluid or an Allison C-4 fluid.
APPLICATION
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL exceeds the
performance requirements of all diesel (both 2- and 4-cycle) and
gasoline engine manufacturers specifying the use of an engine
oil meeting API Service Classifications CG-4, CF-4, CF-2, CF/SH
or any combination such as CG-4/SH. Extensive field testing documents
excellent performance in Detroit Diesel, Mack, Cummins and Caterpillar
engines. PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL exceeds the requirements
of military Commercial Item Descriptions (C.I.D.) A-A-52039A and
A-A-52306.
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL exceeds the
warranty requirements of Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel,
International/Navistar, John Deere, Mack (EO-L), American Motors,
Chrysler, Ford and General Motors.
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL also exceeds
the requirements of a host of international heavy duty diesel
engine manufacturers including Daimler-Benz, Isuzu, Iveco, MTU,
Saab/Scania, Hino, UD/Nissan, MAN, and Volvo.
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY FLEET MOTOR OIL also exceeds
Caterpillar TO-2 requirements for powershift transmissions and
Allison C-4 transmission specifications. It is available in four
viscosity grades: SAE 30, 40, 10W-30, and 15W-40. Always check
the owner's manual for the correct viscosity grade to use.
The John Deere JDQ-78 specification includes requirements
for an oil to possess outstanding high temperature oxidation resistance.
PENNZOIL SUPREME DUTY easily meets this requirement helping to
assure proper oil viscosity even under extended drain intervals.
